PLN 11

Hard to imagine but possible. I watched "2020 Vision" by Karl Fisch about his prediction of what going to happen between 2007 through 2020. I was really amazed that Karl thinks Google will buy Ford, abc, Microsoft, Disney and so on. If this really happens would Google control the world? Also, as far as education at Arapahoe in 2013 he says every student will have a laptop! I don't think this will happen until 2015 that every student will have a laptop but most will. I think sending the $100 to $145 laptops to kids that are in underdeveloped countries is awesome but I wish I could have one. Going back to Google, Karl thinks Google will eventually create a electric car and buy solar panels. I don't think this will ever happen because I see Google making software's and cell phones. His ideas matters to the world entirely if it happens, it will impact everyone's education and everyone will start using renewable resources. Overall I think if his ideas do come true it will be negative to other small company's and Google will have to much control.

What would society be today if there was no leadership? I read “Rigor Redefined” by Tony Wagner. This page means a lot to me because I agree with Tony and I am a student. I need these traits to be the best student and the best person. Using these traits will get me far into the world and become a great success. For me this article pushes me to the next level and to do my best but I still slack in many things. This also matters to the world, if no one had leadership, imagination, critical thinking,  problem solving and thinking outside the box. I guess there wouldn’t be such thing as an  iPod. My question is would we be living like cavemen?
